Exciting news to share!
Recently, I bought out my former partner and acquired the entire company, Chicago Children’s House. I did this in an effort to continue implementing the vision of childcare that we have been moving towards. With this news, I am thrilled to announce that we will be changing our name to Dandelion Nursery and Preschool.

Why Dandelion?
Dandelions symbolizes happiness, joy and youthful thoughts, but can also symbolize health, power, perseverance, endurance and determination. I believe all of these are important traits that we hope to foster within our company. From a personal perspective, the Dandelion holds a special meaning from my childhood. It’s also a Rolling Stones song with John and Paul singing backup, and for those who know me, you know how important The Beatles are in my life.

In terms of how all of this affects you and your family:
• Your child will continue to be loved and cared for by current staff.
• We will be moving towards creating consistency in our policies and practices across classrooms.
• We will be improving our communication among our staff and with you, our fabulous families.
• Our staff will begin receiving regular, high quality professional development to help them gain even more knowledge and tools to make Dandelion even more supportive, enriching, loving for your child.

You may have questions for me about all of this and I am happy to answer them. Just let me know when you’d like to chat. I know that changes can feel scary, but I assure you that your child’s well-being and your satisfaction with our organization are my priorities. I look forward to collaborating with you and navigating this new adventure together.
