When RTDNA announced it's holding its annual convention in my home town of Milwaukee, I knew a few things.
1. It would be a great opportunity for Scott Libin and I to revive the RTDNA Anchor Leadership Summit in tandem with the convention. RTDNA agreed.
2. Many of Milwaukee's top anchors are alumni of the program, and they would be great guest faculty. Guess what? They all volunteered.
3. Other top TV news managers have helped teach the program. They volunteered, too!
4. They'd love to hear from another Milwaukee market alum, Boyd Huppert about the secrets of coaching great storytelling. He was an immediate "yes!"
So now, it's all coming together. A whole day of nothing but leadership for TV News Anchors. June 12. Here's the link for registration. (And it gets participants a discount for the convention, too!) https://bit.ly/AnchorLead24

The government doesn't have to give journalists information, especially if it makes them look bad. But journalists (and non-journalists) can file a legal request to get access to files, data and more. Learn more about the process at FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Fest. Reserve tickets to the virtual event through the link below.
