He is trying to connect with Elizabeth “Liz” (Fitzgerald) Parker MHS Class of 1968. He has her senior yearbook and would love to return it to her. Founded to sustain and nurture the faith life of early Lithuanian immigrants in the United States, the Sisters continue today in ministries of outreach and pastoral care for some of the most vulnerable of the people of God. Sadly, we mourn the loss of Father Pete Paurazas. Fr. Pete taught Theology at Maria High School. He served the Archdiocese of Chicago as a priest for 70 years. He was the Pastor of St. Adrian Parish and St. Rene Goupil Parish.

Father Pete was a true blessing to the communities he served. His dedication to the faith and his parishioners & students inspired all. His kindness, wisdom, and comforting presence will always be remembered.

May the Angels lead Fr. Pete into Paradise as they proclaim, "Well done, good and faithful servant." May His soul Rest in eternal peace.
