The final chapel of the 2025-2026 school year was excellent!

Wheaton College Gospel Choir Director, Dr. Tanya Egler spoke to the students this week about missions and music, and how they work together. 🎶

We had a joyful and encouraging time participating in worship both students and staff.

Thank you to Dr. Egler for sharing her story, and wonderful music ministry with all of us at PTCS!

Our end of the year ballet showcases involved skipping and pirouetting fun! 🩰

Ms. DeKam directed two showcases this year. One for our pre-school through junior kindergarten classes, and one for our 1st-3rd grade classes.

Our students have enjoyed learning how to perform first and second positions, but they have also gained better hand-eye coordination through dancing, too.

Thank you to Ms. DeKam for her dedication to ballet and our students this year!

This year's Poetry Slam was a success! 🖊

Our students were not only incredibly creative and innovative with their rhyming skills but also with the topics that they spoke about. The topics ranged from time to nature and everything in between.

Students also grew in their ability to not only express themselves cleverly through words, but they also had fun in the process, writing their own poetry.

Our younger students (kindergarten-4th grade) took a walk to the park for an exciting day of play and exploration with chalk, the monkey bars, and even some feathered friends came by to say “hi.”

A healthy reminder that hands-on learning through play can be a beautiful and fun way to learn about the world around us, regardless of age!

Pui Tak Christian School has been made aware of three separate scam incidents reported in the Chinatown community over the past several weeks. Individuals involved in these scams are falsely impersonating Pui Tak Christian School employees and contacting local restaurants and businesses to place fraudulent orders ranging from $10,000 to $20,000.

PTCS is actively cooperating with law enforcement and reporting all known fraudulent activity to the police. We urge community members and local businesses to exercise caution and verify any suspicious requests or large orders that claim to be associated with Pui Tak Christian School.

If you believe you may have been contacted as part of this scam or suspect fraudulent activity involving the name of Pui Tak Christian School, please contact the police immediately.

培德基督教學校近日獲悉，在過去幾週內，華埠社區已發生三宗不同的詐騙案件。詐騙者冒充培德基督教學校同工，向本地餐館及商家下達金額高達一萬至兩萬美元的大額虛假訂單。

本校目前正積極配合執法部門，並已將相關詐騙行為向警方報案。我們提醒社區居民及商戶提高警覺，對任何聲稱代表培德基督教學校提出的可疑要求或大額訂單，務必先行核實。

The truck is off! 🚚 Our latest round of donations is officially on its way to New To You!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Bright Promise Fund for their steadfast support of Pui Tak Christian School and their unwavering commitment to Christian education.

We also want to recognize the incredible truck drivers for their help with loading and transportation, as well as the wonderful volunteers who gave of their time this morning to support our school.

Lastly, thank you parents for your generosity. We couldn't do it without you!

Captured in the golden hour of play! Our youngest learners took their energy to the local park for a morning of fresh air and sunshine. They conquered the slides, climbed on the highest nets, and had a blast on the swings - a day filled with laughter and big adventures!

It was a wonderful reminder that some of the best lessons happen outside the classroom. Seeing them develop their motor skills and social bonds in the great outdoors is truly the highlight of our week!

Gold x3! Congratulations to Caroline, Miya, and Rachel — three of our Pui Tak Christian School middle schoolers who competed at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) State Science Exposition this past week and each earned a Gold rating on their science projects!

IJAS State is no small stage — with approximately 800 state-qualified projects from across Illinois, these students stood out. They presented their research to multiple panels of judges with confidence, poise, and excellence.

And after the hard work? They celebrated with pizza, rock climbing, virtual reality, racquetball, and more at Southern Illinois University's recreation center. They earned every moment of it. 🎉

This is what a Pui Tak Christian School education looks like. We are so proud of these young scientists!

To kick off our two-week reading marathon, we leveled up the fun with a Reading Spirit Week! We’ve been rocking the week with daily themed outfits and a trip to the Chicago Public Library in Chinatown for activities and quiet reading time. Making literacy fun, one chapter at a time!

At Pui Tak Christian School, we believe that the best lessons aren't always found in a classroom. Sometimes, they are found at the end of a packing line.

Last week, our middle schoolers spent a day at Feed My Starving Children, proving that field trips aren't just about what we can learn, but what we can give. It wasn't just about the hairnets or the rhythmic pace of packing; it was about the lives that will be changed and the children who will be fed because our students chose to serve.

We are so proud of our students for putting their faith into action and showing that you're never too young to make a global impact! 📦✨
