Our club is inspired by students who are interested in becoming a nurse, pharmacist, physician's assistant, physical therapist, dentist, doctor, and the list goes on. Anyone is able to join, even if you are not interested in becoming a health professional, we all still share the same interest and passion for the sciences. Explore the field of genetic counseling and learn about the various career opportunities in hospitals, clinical laboratories, academic settings, and more! Hear from genetic counselors about their career journeys and how you can make a difference in patients' lives


It's that time of year! The Future Health Professionals is having their 22'-23' Officer Elections on Thursday, April 28th from 3 to 4 PM via Zoom.

Positions Available: President, Vice President, Social Media Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Secretary, and Treasurer.

FHP is raising awareness for those in need! On Thursday, May 5th, from 2:30-4 PM, FHP will be putting bags together for the homeless filled with clothing, personal hygiene items, and snacks!

Woot, woot! Our 3rd NEIU Health Alumni Panel returns to NEIU on Tuesday, April 19th, from 6-8 PM CT πŸŽ‰ Here, we will connect with NEIU alumni who have attended graduate health programs in medicine, dentistry, optometry, and PA. These students have all taken the same courses, interacted with the same professors, and had the same advisors we have today. So, join us in learning about their experiences and journey to and through their health programs.

We will also have time to interact and ask questions regarding their journeys πŸ‘

Then join us, this Thursday from 3-5 PM, as Dr. Michael Ellison who is currently the Associate Dean for Admissions at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, as he covers all that goes into writing a quality personal statement for a graduate health program & the various types of interviews and what to expect.
