It’s solo recital day! All of our violinists, violists, and cellists will be performing in a marathon day of studio recitals! Ms Kelly and Ms Rebekah’s cello students are at noon, Mr Andrew’s studio at 2pm, and Ms Hilary’s studio at 4pm! All recitals will be streamed on our page! Be sure to tune in!

Get your costumes ready! Our annual Spooky Suzuki Concert and Party is this Sunday! There will be pumpkin carving, a Halloween themed concert, musical games, a costume contest and more! This event is free and open to the public. Pumpkin carving ($5 per pumpkin) starts at 2:30pm at University Church in Hyde Park. See you there!

Registration for South Side Suzuki’s 6th annual Honors Recital is open! Students of all ages and levels can experience the audition process in a professional yet friendly setting! This is a great way for young students to dip their toes into the world of auditioning while avoiding the unnecessary pressures tied to other competitions. Students who have gone through our audition process often grow to be some of our most confident musicians and young people!
The best part? Students who demonstrate the most polished performances will be selected to participate in a recital that concludes with a special performance from internationally acclaimed violinist, Rachel Barton Pine! Link to register your audition in bio!
