We finished week one of "Semester 3" successfully! We welcomed 87 Knights to our academic program. These Knights engaged in meaningful practice of skills to prepare them for the 2026-27 school year.

We welcomed 70 Knights to our enrichment program, who have enjoyed every minute of Tai Chi with Sensei Parker, dance with Ms. Gibson, Hair (Crown) Care with Ms. Wriddley, T-shirt Design with Ms. Brooks and Sports Camp with Mr. Williams! All activities have been supported by Iyanna Turner (PECS Class of 2023), Micheal Granberry (PECS Class of 2022), Reggie Ragland and Shane Shelton.


We're so ready to jump into Week 2 tomorrow!

In case you missed our fabulous commencement Class of 2026 ceremony: This year, 43 incredible Knights crossed the graduation stage. Among them, 29 have been enrolled at our school since kindergarten! We're also celebrating 14 Knights who will continue their journeys at Selective Enrollment (i.e. Whitney Young, Lindblom, Brooks, King, etc.) and Magnet (Kenwood Academy) High Schools.

Special thanks to our guest speaker, Class of 2015 Alumnus, Donte Sibley, for an excellent message. Wherever we go, we are to remember not only that we represent PECS, but also our last name.

As for this year's class, we couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished. Here's to the Class of 2026! 💜💛
