Today we sadly report the passing of retired Senn math teacher Rafael A. Garcia. He was 93 years old and will be missed by his family. May he RIP.
The visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tohle Funeral Home, located at 4325 W. Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, IL 60630.
A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthias Church, located at 2310 W. With great sadness we report that one of our former Senn teachers has passed. Jeanne Reckett who had taught English and led the Drama department/club has passed away on May 27th, 2026. Jeanne Reckett was loved by many alumni and faculty. Jeanne Reckett was 86.
