1. Catch Teaching Artist Bree Gordon rocking the stage coming up that sounds like an absolute blast. 2. Celebrate Asian Pacific American Art with Teaching Artist Walt’s artwork in a fantastic group show at the Zhou B Art Center. Exhibition Dates: May 15th – July 12th (2nd Floor Gallery)
3. Experience "Invisible Cities" with our Program Director, Dan Kerr-Hobert, who is co-creating and performing a unique theatrical experience based on Italo Calvino’s classic work: INVISIBLE CITIES: A Toy Theater Atlas. Don't miss this beautiful, intricate, and imaginative performance! Tickets here: https://www.toy-atlas.com/
4. Explore "Vortex" Curated by Development and Communications Associate Alexandria Knapik. The show is currently on display inside the Buddy Chicago store located right in the Chicago Cultural Center. Drop in during your next downtown loop walk to check it out!

The award will fund the creation of the Snow City Arts Zine Library, commission original designs from local artists, which students will then use to print and "remix" onto t-shirts and tote bags, and produce a second edition of A Zine About Zines. This spring, we’re asking: how can a moment of creativity in a hospital room expand beyond the walls? 🏥✨ At Snow City Arts, we’re deepening connections through:
Our New "For Families" Hub: An accessible webpage for students to keep plugged in after their workshop.
Our Spring Snowcase: Celebrating 250+ artworks by 200+ young artists in an exhibition format.
Postcard Connections: Which are sent to students to let them know we see them and enjoyed working with them
Want to show your support in doing this work? Visit snowcityarts.org/donate to see all the ways!
1. Give: Make a one-time or monthly gift to sustain our family-centered programming.
2. Donate Supplies: Grab some Posca markers or other art supplies from our Blick or Amazon Wish List!
3. Double Your Impact: Check if your employer offers donation matching.

🎨 Help us bring more color to the hospital! We’re restocking our Snow City Arts art kits and our students have one big request: Posca Markers! These paint markers are a must for our young artists, allowing them to create bold, vibrant work right from their hospital beds.
You can donate directly through our Blick Wish List! It’s the quickest way to get these high-quality tools into the hands of our students.
