We’re excited for another semester of our undergraduate course, MGMT377: Family Business Management!
Last fall, enrollment in the course tripled as students explored the unique opportunities and challenges of family owned businesses through case studies, classroom discussions, and insights from family business guest speakers.
And the impact extended beyond the classroom—two students went on to secure jobs after connecting with a family business that participated as a guest speaker!
We’re looking forward to welcoming a new group of students this fall and continuing to connect classroom learning with family businesses.
Did you know members of our broader community can also audit the course? Learn more about MGMT 377: https://www.luc.edu/familybusiness/services/familybusinessmanagement/

Happy National Parents Day!
In family businesses, parents often wear many hats—parent, mentor, teacher, and role model. They pass down not only a business, but also the values, work ethic, and sense of purpose that shape the next generation.
Today, we're celebrating the parents whose guidance and dedication continue to leave a lasting impact on their families and their businesses.
Happy National Parents Day from all of us at the Loyola Family Business Center 💙
