What is the difference between European and American floral design?
The European Approach
Our school offers a European approach to education in floral design.
Historically American flower arranging evolved from European traditional floral design.
Besides traditional floral design, contemporary European masters offer visually dazzling concepts.
From that perspective, the American style is quite conservative. So, if somebody looks for visually stunning, stay-above-the-crowd designs, they hire European-trained florists!

Tutorial - Leaf manipulation
Aspidistra leaf is the best for this purpose.
Do not hydrate before manipulation.
Simple technique
Tear off several strips only from the wider part of a leaf.
Start by poking a hole approximately
in the ½ of the length of the leaf, about ½ inch from the edge, using your thumb nail.
Then gently pull to separate a strip from the leaf, moving your thumb up and down along its length.
Repeat until you reach the middle vein of the leaf.
Hydrate the leaves for 2 hours before arranging.
Use the laced leaves in bouquets and arrangements.

Different personalities, different priorities, but love to flowers makes all equally happy!
How to create a perfect floral arrangement?
Your keep looking at thousands of arrangements on Instagram and Facebook and think your bouquet is not looking as good.
Stop the scrolling!
The problem is not your talent.
As a matter of fact, a good arrangement is about 85% of a formula and only 15% of talent.
An arrangement structured right way can make the difference between an ordinary bouquet and an exceptional one.
Tatiana Chelekhova, who has over 45 years of experiences of teaching in America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, will come to your town to teach easy universal technique to creating floral arrangements of any style, any size, for any king of ocasion.

Anthurium Flower Arrangements: What Makes These “Unreal” Flowers So Special?
Anthurium flowers look almost unreal—like they’re made of plastic. Their glossy surface and firm texture make them seem as if they could last forever.
These plants are known for their waxy, heart-shaped spathes (bracts) and their central, tail-like spadix. They are native to the Americas, from northern Mexico to northern Argentina and the Caribbean.
The nane Anthurium cones from Greek abd neans “tail flower”.
Because of their tropical origin, anthuriums must be kept in rooms where the temperature does not fall below 58°F (14°C). When exposed to cold, their flowers can discolor and turn brown.
Despite their “plastic-like” appearance, anthurium blooms are actually very delicate. They bruise easily and can be damaged by simple touching.
I love creating simple arrangements using just a few anthurium flowers with greenery or decorative twigs. They are also perfect for forming a base for structural leaf designs, adding elegance and modern style.
