Shaykh Hamzah Abdul Malik and his wife, Ustadha Maryam Abdul Hakeem, are dear friends of ours who are in urgent need of your support. Maryam’s sister, Anse Hafsa, has recently received a devastating diagnosis of stage 3 cancer. While facing this immense challenge, she is also caring for her 6-week old newborn and 10-year old son.
Please donate to help ease the financial burden of her medical course of treatment. Please keep Anse Hafsa and her family in your heartfelt duas during this incredibly difficult time.

From Hadiyah Muhammad:
I am deeply moved by the communal response to help Sr. Asiyah.
Shwayah Rashid - Ubaydullah’s wife, Aasiyah’s mother, and Sr. Asiyah’s daughter – supported her husband while he was studying at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. Her unexpected and tragic passing at age 30 meant that she never got to experience the overwhelming love, honor, and support of a community that directly benefits from her sacrifice. For me, this communal response for her mother is an extension of your love for our family and honor of Shwayah’s sacrifice. Thank you.
As noted in my campaign letter, Sr. Asiyah is a pillar in Aasiyah’s life; it is through Aasiyah’s relationship with her grandmother that she can access her mother. Your response to Sr. Asiyah’s emergency is layered and meaningful on so many levels.
Thank you for supporting my campaign. May Allah protect you from experiencing a similar trial and always keep you among those who give, ameen.
‘O Allah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks.’
A Note from Sr. Asiyah:
To every friend, family member and stranger who’s donated, prayed and wished well for Meek’aeel and I we thank you! There is so much to navigate during times such as these, KNOW that your donation relieves us from the worries of money. We are forever grateful for each and beautiful, kind and generous soul.

Ubaydullah Evans is not formally on Facebook. He does not have personal social media nor does he check this page. This account was created years ago to highlight his classes in Chicago. I am posting this campaign asking for support for his first mother-in-law, Sr. Asiyah Rashid-Crow.
