Working with this student is always fun. Here we work out how to keep fingers 🖐️down through an isolation exercise. 🤔Sometimes we have to isolate in order to stand. How do you isolate?
I am a Suzuki-trained violin teaching artist who most enjoys working with brand-new beginners, ages three and up, and their parents or guardians. I am a stickler for building on a firm foundation and have learned over the years to pay attention to details that are often taken for granted. I'm dedicated to helping others improve and grow in skill through the mini-tutorials I am developing.

In my Studio, we work on reading skills in four ways: Pitch reading, with finger number, Nashville system, and solfège, and we learn by ear and by sight. In this video, the siblings demonstrate the first two while using the music. For more tips on reading music, please subscribe, like, and follow.
