Why Mu? With Melinda!

Dear PNMS,

Choosing Phi Mu was one of the best things to happen to me at depaul. I know that might sound cliché, but it’s true. Moving halfway across the country was so nerve-racking. The moment I walked into Phi Mu’s room during recruitment, it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. The atmosphere was welcoming, kind, and for the first time since going to college, I felt understood. I knew I would find my best friends.

This past year, I was struggling a little bit on whether or not I wanted to change my major and one of our seniors helped me understand how understand where I fit best, I felt so supported and now I feel so much more confident in my classes and major! Some of my favorite memories from my time in Phi Mu have been, all of our Philanthropy weeks, and DemonTHON! Philanthropy is something so important to me and if Ihadn’t joined Phi Mu I would’ve felt like something was missing from college. Being given a sisterhood and a platform to help people has been so special!

To my forever sisters thank you, and to my future sisters I cannot wait to meet you!!

2026 National Convention!! 🩷🤍

last week our chapter president Maggie Lopez and membership director Lily! traveled to atlanta, ga for Phi Mu Fraternity national convention! they met phi mu’s from all over the country, visited national headquarters, and voted on fraternity business!
