Some families pass down traditions. The Zayad family passed down a love for UIC.

When Yasmine Zayad BS ‘26 graduated this spring, she became the fifth sibling to earn a UIC degree, continuing a family legacy that began with their father, Zakaria, who attended UIC after immigrating to Chicago in 1985.
