8th Grade Honors ELA end of the year STEAM project did not disappoint this year. The students spent time creating connections to the novel ‘Night’ by Ellie Wiesel to close out their learning of the Holocaust.

I am always proud of our students. But today even more so! So many students, parents teachers, staff and some former ‘Tigers grads’ showed up to honor those who fought overseas for our freedom!

Mr K’s annual Mock Trial is fully underway with the “Plaintiff” direct examinations and “Defense” cross examinations today. All of our students who participated as lawyers, witnesses, and jury members did a fantastic job today!

A special shout out to our “Lawyers in the Classroom”, Mr. Burrows and Mr. Jordan, from O’Conner and Nakos Law for coming out to give the 8th graders advice and feedback in the courtroom!!!

Huge shoutout to our 8th graders who celebrated the end of the year at yesterday! Phenomenal food, an amazing experience, and the perfect way to begin our send-off as they head toward high school. We are so proud of this group! Only 9 school days left!! 🎓🥩

Through the power of virtual reality, our students got to step directly into the shoes of different professionals and experience unique career paths firsthand. From exploring high-demand industries to seeing what a day on the job actually looks like, it was an incredibly immersive and inspiring experience!
