Evergreen Academy Middle School

Evergreen Academy Middle School Evergreen Academy Middle School is located in the McKinley Park area which is bounded by Pershing Rd., Western Ave., Ashland, and 32nd St.

The area has seen an increase in the Hispanic population and has an enrollment of approximately 400 students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Evergreen is one of the three public elementary schools that serve the area, with Greene Elementary and Everett Schools (both K-5) serving as feeder schools sending their 6th grade students to us. Most of our students live within walking distance of our school.

Evergreen is also a CPS Options for Knowledge school and will enroll students outside of our boundaries.

Through fun team-building challenges, students practiced important skills like collaboration, communication, and perseverance. They worked together, shared ideas, problem-solved, and kept trying even when the challenge got tough!

STEAM is about so much more than building and creating—it’s also about learning how to work together and never give up! 💪🐯
