While searching for her next chapter in life, Angie Jaral found National Louis University to help her with her next steps.

"When I found NLU, it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The transfer process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly supportive and met me where I was, which made a huge difference. Since coming to NLU, I’ve discovered my passion for digital marketing and writing. I’ve also been given so many opportunities to grow, including working as an intern at CNW and becoming a podcast producer. These experiences have helped me build confidence and figure out what I want my future to look like. NLU didn’t just give me a place to continue my education; it gave me direction, purpose, and a space to truly grow into myself."

Carolyn Theard-Griggs is proud to put the values we hold at National Louis University into practice through her service.

"It was a meaningful reminder that leadership is not only about strategy and vision. It is also about service. As we packed boxes of food for families across Chicago, I was struck by how naturally our team embodied the same work ethic and collaboration we bring to the university each day. Different setting. Different mission. Same commitment.

There is something grounding about stepping outside of our daily roles and simply showing up to help. Serving together reminded me that impact does not always come through big initiatives or formal titles. Sometimes it comes through giving your time, rolling up your sleeves, and contributing to something larger than yourself."
