The New Arts Journalism 2019 Thesis Symposium will take place today at the Nichols Board of Trustees Suite at Art Institute of Chicago from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be thesis presentations by Noël Jones, Almanya Narula, Cat Strain, Raksha Thakur, Hylee Won, and Jiatan Xiao! Robin Amer is the keynote speaker.
NAJ alum Micco Caporale is acting as art director for Critic’s Union, which is having its second issue release party on May 24 at 7:00 PM at Pilsen Community Books. The magazine began as a project for NAJ director Dushko Petrovich’s Publishing As Creative Practice course!
