We are excited to host 25 local businesses to campus on Thursday 9/5 as part of our first ever Local Business & Part-time Job Expo! This is a great place to meet local businesses and explore opportunities for part-time jobs. See you on the Quad from 12-5pm!

During this fall’s Welcome Week, you’ll notice that our water bottle giveaways are a bit different this year. We’ve joined the movement that is . Each refill gives back to a different charitable cause. Pick up your bottle at one of the Welcome Week tables on Wednesday or Thursday of the first week of classes then download the app to participate!

We have another Cinema Sunday on Sept. 1st featuring Blink Twice! Sign ups open TOMORROW at 10am on DeHUB!🎬😈 Check back every week for more film fun!

Due to popular demand, Cinema Sundays is back for Fall 2024! We will be kicking off on Sunday 8/25 featuring Deadpool & Wolverine. As a reminder, Cinema Sundays sign ups open up at 10am the Monday prior to the movie and are open to the first 40 students. Typically, movies are at 1pm at AMC New City and include a drink and popcorn coupon.

Please join us in congratulating our associate director, Mary Osbourne, for being the recipient of the 2024 Division of Student Affairs Leadership Award! Mary received this award because of her exceptional work on the student org review project- something that she has been leading for two years alongside numerous OSI staff, campus partners, and student leaders. Her work will have a monumental impact for the over 10,000 students that participate in student organizations at DePaul.

Graduating student leaders- stop by the Lincoln Park Office of Student Involvement (LPC Student Center 201) starting Monday or the Loop Life Office (Loop DePaul Center 125) starting Tuesday to pick up your student leader medal to wear at commencement. All student organization leaders who have held a leadership position in their organization in any of their years at DePaul are welcomed to get a medal.

Let’s Go Sky! We have been able to secure a limited block of tickets for DePaul students to attend the Tuesday 6/4 Sky x DePaul Night at Wintrust Arena! Tickets are $10 via DeHUB and include the Sky x DePaul co-branded hat.

Want to get an Aura Photo taken? You’ve got three chances to do so! Our Aura photographer will be in LP on Wednesday 5/15 from 12-3pm, in the Loop on Thursday from 1-4pm, and in LP again on Friday from 5-8pm. First come, first served for each session.

Given the current campus environment, FEST 2024 cannot proceed as planned. We will refund all student and guest tickets in full to those who have already purchased tickets.

While it is unfortunate FEST 2024 won’t be held, we plan to host other activities the evening of Friday, May 17, from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. in the Lincoln Park Student Center. More details will be shared about this experience on the OSI and DAB social media accounts in the coming days.

We have heard from a number of students—particularly the class of 2024 whose high school graduations and first year of college were disrupted by the pandemic—that they are still are seeking to have traditional student activities as they end the academic year. Our goal is to honor these students’ wishes however we can.

Don’t miss ’s Go Kart Grand Prix this Thursday 4/25 from 6-9pm! The Pace Car will be on site alongside go karts, slot car races, DIY hats, food, and more! See you in the Visitor Lot at Sheffield and Montana for this one-of-a-kind event!

Thanks to everyone that came out to today’s Eclipse Party! Are you done with your glasses? OSI is collecting used but undamaged eclipse glasses to send to Eclipse Glasses USA- a group collecting glasses to send to schools in Latin America so school-aged children can view the October 2024 Annular Eclipse. You can return your glasses through the end of the week to be included in the mailer.
