Let’s be real. DDG knew exactly what he was doing from the beginning.
He didn’t go after Halle because he genuinely loved her he saw an opportunity. She’s soft. Quiet. Private. Not someone with a long dating history. It seems like this was her first real relationship and she gave it her all.
And he used that.
He cheated on her three times while she stood beside him. And now he’s acting shocked because she finally snapped?
Let’s talk about respect because he never showed her any. When Halle was pregnant and trying to keep it private, he was still recording her. She clearly wanted to protect that moment in her life, and he turned it into content. And now that their son is here, he’s putting him on streams, too like it’s all a brand.
And now, to top it off, he’s exposing text messages from her trying to make her look “crazy.” But anyone who’s been through narcissistic abuse knows exactly what that is. He likely pushed her to the edge emotionally, over and over again, and then sat back collecting receipts for the moment she finally broke.
That’s what narcissists do. They provoke you, manipulate you, break you down and then act like the victim while everyone else thinks you lost it.
Halle is not crazy. She’s hurt. She’s exhausted. And she loved someone who never really loved her back he just loved the benefits that came with her.💔💔

Never heard of a Crust Burger? That ends today. Nicole shares all the tips and tricks she learned at the Food & Wine Classic Charleston for this perfect sandwich, coined by the cooking wizard, Chef Sean Brock. We’ll take this over a regular smash burger any day! 🤌

2 teaspoons softened butter
1 potato hamburger bun
2 ounces 70% lean ground beef
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 very thin slice onion
1 slice American cheese, such as Kraft Deluxe® American cheese slices
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 teaspoons ketchup
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Crystal® hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon fish sauce

Heat a heavy skillet or griddle over medium heat. Spread butter over top of bun and bottom of bottom bun and place in skillet. Press down firmly with a spatula to completely flatten buns. Cook until toasted on both sides and set aside.

Increase the heat under the skillet to medium-high. Place meat in a mounded ball into the hot skillet and press firmly to flatten with a spatula. Gently work the spatula in a circular motion to form a very thin patty with jagged edges. Season with salt and pepper.

Place onion on top and cook until browned around the edges. Top with cheese and cook until cheese melts. Scrape burger from the skillet and place on top of the bun top. Invert the other bun so that the inside of the bun is now the outside. Place burger back in skillet and cook about 1 minute on each side.

Stir mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, and fish sauce together in a small bowl. Serve sauce alongside the burger.
