Governor Rauner has a plan that could eventually bankrupt our public school system here in Chicago. Doesn't sound like a plan at all. It's our duty as a community to make sure this doesn't happen. We will soon be accepting volunteers, seeking staff and hosting fund raising events just for starters on our mission for financial empowerment of our youth.

They say it starts at home. Chicago is my home. Mutual Partners Association is a Chicago based organization prepared to bring a financial literacy program to our inner city youth. Our plan is to offer opportunities in film, music, horticulture, dance, creative arts and more while teaching youth about financial literacy and economic empowerment! In the African American Community we have enough professionals in all areas of professions to flood our community with after school and summer programs of every kind. We can’t wait on funding from our state, we must fund our own community to save our children and to give them hope. How do you do this you ask, by simply donating 2-3 hours of your time whenever you can. If you have a professional skill such as teacher, performing arts, culinary, sports, music etc, you can become a part of the solution by volunteering a few hours to teach your profession. It’s imperative that we take the kids off the streets and into classrooms. You can be the instrument we need to do this.

FIGHT VIOLENCE THROUGH MUSIC, FILMING, FINANCIAL LITERACY AND MORE
In Chicago, it is no secret that the murder rate is high and kids have been killed. Our belief is that youth program will help curb some violence because it helps to create jobs and gives teenagers something productive to do in a safe environment. It also helps them understand that they can and do have a future.
