We will be joined by HCOE alumni participants who work in healthcare. They will be sharing their experiences and contributions to the healthcare system in the United States. The event will also include skill-building activities, music, and food.

A new Hispanic Center of Excellence initiative for City Colleges of Chicago transfer students coming to UIC and who are interested in Medicine is the Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LaHSEP) for Transfer Students it is a 6-week summer program, come learn and get acquainted with the campus and the resources available.

Una nueva iniciativa del Hispanic Center of Excellence para los estudiantes que se transferirán de los City Colleges de Chicago a UIC en el otoño 2024 y que están interesados en el campo de medicina los invita a aplicar para el programa de verano del Hispanic Center of Excellence llamado Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LaHSEP) para estudiantes que se transfieren. Durante las seis semanas los estudiantes aprenderán, investigaran, y se familiarizaran con el campus y sus recursos.
