A new academic year began with plenty to celebrate! 🎉

At DePaul University’s 2026 Convocation, faculty and staff from the Driehaus College of Business and Kellstadt Graduate School of Business were recognized for their contributions to teaching, research, service and student success.

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients:

• David Wang, Spirit of Inquiry Award

We’re officially kicking off the 2026–27 academic year at Driehaus!

What a fantastic kickoff to the MBA journey!

On Saturday, we welcomed over 200 new MBA students to DePaul at our orientation event. It was a day full of energy, connection, and inspiration, giving students a peak into exactly what the MBA experience is all about.

From a warm welcome from Dean Sulin Ba, to a practical Career Management workshop and networking session, topped off with an inspiring alumni & current student panel, our students got a powerful start to their journey. We wrapped up with a happy hour that kept the conversations and connections flowing.

Fifty-seven new accounting transfer students are heading into the fall quarter with new skills, connections and a community behind them.

Last week, we wrapped up our annual Accounting Transfer Scholars program. Students completed a cost and managerial accounting course while building career-ready skills through resume workshops, practice interviews, alumni networking and visits to EY, RSM, and KPMG.

Thank you to professor Emily Jurgens, mentors Kevin Wildhirt and Summer Placher, Ledger & Quill, our guest speakers, participating firms, alumni and campus and community college partners for making this experience possible.
