Friday, March 21st is a big day at Moos!

It is:
1. Fancy Friday🎩👗
2. World Down Syndrome Day 🧦

Down Syndrome is a condition caused by an extra copy of the 21st chromosome. Socks are shaped like chromosomes, so we will wear our most fun, crazy, bold, even mismatched socks to raise awareness...and to honor and show love to the 3 Moos scholars that have this condition. ❤️

Yesterday we celebrated in STYLE. Bernie the Moos(e) came around to classrooms to share a birthday pencil and a delicious cookie (huge thanks for Roeser's Bakery and the Friends of Moos Elementary!!!). And LIVE@805 had a special report from the Chicago Cultural Center - a building that Bernhard Moos helped create!
