Andrew Elbert teaches contemporary djembe music, focusing on rhythms and techniques from Guinea, Mali, and Ivory Coast, West Africa. Kinzie, Chicago, IL 60622.
Regular drum classes, with Andrew Elbert, are from 6:00-8:45pm, every Sunday, at his music rehearsal space (the Stude), at 1648 W. Beginner class is from 6-7:15 and Intermediate/Advanced class is from 7:30-8:45. Classes are $10 each or $15 for both; special $5 for 1st class, or if you bring a new student.
