When you find a group with the same mission who take it seriously, you feel empowered to do more and know that your impact makes a big difference.
We partnered with ASM and Great Lakes Sailing to offer Sail Her Dreams, a STEM Sailing Academy for girls at Montrose harbor, Chicago.
There, the girls have a safe and inclusive space to learn, build and lead in STEM areas, as well as in sailing, a sport historically dominated by male athletes.

WEEK 5 RECAP:
At Sail Her Dreams, we dove into water justice, community infrastructure, and systems design with the incredible Danielle Gallet—urban strategist, water visionary, and founder of Waterwell. (Session 5, July 21-24).
Danielle guided our girls through a deep exploration of how water systems work (and don’t work) in cities like Chicago—and how we can design better, more just solutions. From mapping watershed flows to prototyping resilient neighborhoods, our sailors became planners, designers, and changemakers.
