🖤❤️💚 Malcolm X College presents the Annual Kwanzaa Celebration Join us for seven days of music, art, and community honoring African heritage and culture through daily traditions, performances, and reflection. 📅 December 26, 2025 – January 1, 2026 🕛 12:00 PM daily — Drum call, libation ceremony, Kwanzaa history, lighting of the kinara, and introduction of the principle of the day 🎭 Performances begin at 1:00 PM 🛍 Vendor Market: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM This celebration is proudly co-produced with community partners, each highlighting a Kwanzaa principle through culture and creativity: • Daughters of Haiti — Kujichagulia (Dec 27) • Betty Shabazz International Charter Schools — Ujima (Dec 28) • Chi‑Village — Ujamaa (Dec 29) • The Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League & Liberated Arts Movement — Nia (Dec 30) • Culture and Collabs — Kuumba (Dec 31) Celebrate unity, purpose, collective work, and creativity with us all week long. ✨ All are welcome.
