Comprehensive Learning Services started out of the perceived need to bring individual remediation and group services to the Hyde Park neighborhood, where they were not conveniently being offered at the time. After working for several years with schools such as Sacred Heart, Ancona, Daystar, and University of Chicago Lab school, Dr. Perry saw the benefit for parents and families to not have to trav

As we close out Autism Awareness Month, our hearts are FULL 💙💚
Today we celebrate the real MVPs of our ABA program… our AMAZING Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)! 👏🏽✨
Day in and day out, they show up with patience, compassion, creativity, and unwavering dedication.
They are the ones building trust, celebrating every small win, supporting through challenges, and helping our children grow in ways that truly matter.
This work isn’t easy, but they make it look effortless with the love and intention they pour into every session. 💫
Because of our RBTs, progress happens. Confidence builds. Families feel supported. And lives are changed.
We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you. THANK YOU for being the heart of our program. 💙

Honored and energized after my visit to WVON Chicago 🎙️
We had a powerful conversation about Autism in the Black community…breaking stigma, increasing awareness, and, most importantly, advocating for early support and access to quality services for our children.
These conversations matter. For too long, our families have faced barriers to diagnosis, resources, and culturally responsive care. But change happens when we speak up, share knowledge, and build community.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my voice to uplift our children and families; and this is just the beginning. 💙
Let’s continue to normalize the conversation, educate, and empower.
💙 More than awareness… it’s about understanding, acceptance, and action. 💙
This Autism Awareness Month, our ABA Program Manager and BCBA, Monica, shares why this work is so close to her heart.
For her, it’s not just about what we do, it’s about the children, the families, the small wins that turn into life-changing moments, and the opportunity to help every child be seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are. ✨
At CLS, we believe awareness is just the beginning. True impact comes from showing up, building connections, and creating spaces where every child can thrive.
💙 Because every child deserves to feel understood.
💙 Every family deserves support.
💙 And every voice deserves to be heard.

My heart is full 🤍
Two families stopped by the office last night…families who met back in 2020 during a time none of us will ever forget… COVID.
What started as uncertainty and fear turned into trust.
They trusted me enough to bring their families together into each other’s homes to create learning pods for their sweet 3-year-old boys.
And from that?
Real friendship.
Lasting bonds.
A village.
Their boys are older now… and they still have play dates every two weeks. 🥹
What began as a response to a global crisis became something beautiful and lasting.
This is why I do what I do.
Not just closing academic gaps, but helping build community.
My heart is warmed in the best way today. 🤍✨

This summer, our Tiny Talkers Speech & Language Camp is a gentle, play-based space for children ages 3–6 to continue growing their language and communication skills.
Children are grouped by age and skill level and take part in hands-on activities centered around a weekly theme through play, stories, movement, and time together.
Our goal is to support language development while helping children feel confident, connected, and successful in a small-group setting.
Families are welcome to join us for all six weeks or just the weeks that fit their summer plans.
Registration is now open on our website.
Feel free to message us if you’d like to learn more; we’re always happy to talk things through. 💛
