Certified fraud examiners help protect the global economy by uncovering fraud and implementing processes to prevent fraud from occurring. On average, they earn 23 percent more than their non-certified colleagues. The new student chapter will provide excellent opportunities for students to connect and collaborate with professionals in the field of fraud protection. In addition, there will be mentor

ing opportunities to enhance students’ leadership and communications skills. Members of the founding executive team who will lead the chapter during the 2015-16 academic year are Colin McVisk, Guadalupe Cotto and Darlene Morris-Fullerton. The Forensic Accounting program offered in the Heller College is one of few programs of its kind in the region. The program trains students in anti-fraud and financial forensics and helps students succeed with the CFE exam.
