The University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice is pleased to announce the launch of the Family ENGAGEMENT Research Group, led by Abigail Palmer Molina, PhD, Neubauer Family Assistant Professor.

The Family ENGAGEMENT Research Group serves as a hub for research examining caregiver mental health, family well-being, and infant and early childhood mental health, with a focus on generating knowledge that can strengthen support systems for children and families.

The work of Melissa Roderick, PhD, demonstrated what is possible when research stays connected to practitioners, students, and communities. What began as a collaboration with school principals became the foundation for the Network for College Success, helping schools use data, leadership, and systems-level problem-solving to improve graduation and college outcomes.
