The AchieveIt 90-Day School Improvement Sprint focuses on closing that gap between your school improvement plan and the daily practice that gets results.

We work alongside school leaders to identify the highest-leverage priority, define what success should look like, support leaders and teachers through coaching and professional learning, and monitor whether practice is actually changing.

Because strategy matters.

**But strategy only changes outcomes when it changes practice.**

**What can happen when leadership, instruction, and culture move in the same direction?**

In our partnership with Webster County School District:

- Chronic absenteeism decreased from 66% to 50%.

- State-reported office referrals declined from 52 to 40.

- Students met proficiency targets across multiple grade levels and content areas.

- Webster County Elementary-Middle School also earned two Georgia Math Leaders Awards for growth.

Those results didn't come from chasing every possible problem at once.

They came through leadership alignment, targeted professional learning, data-informed coaching, and intentional culture-building.

That's the thinking behind our **90-Day School Improvement Sprint**.

Focus the priority. Strengthen the practice. Measure what changes.

**What could focused support make possible in your next 90 days?**

School leaders, here's a question worth bringing to your next leadership meeting:

**If we walked into classrooms 30 days from now, what would we expect to SEE, HEAR, and FEEL if our priorities were truly taking hold?**

Not what would be written in the plan.

Not what you hope is happening.

What would you actually experience?

That question can tell you a lot about whether your team has moved from intention to implementation.

Save this one for your next leadership conversation.

**Professional learning should look like learning.**

- People talking.
- Asking questions.
- Challenging ideas.
- Making connections.

Educators leaving with something they can actually use.

At AchieveIt, we believe professional learning should create space for educators to think, collaborate, practice, and connect the work directly to the students they serve.

Because the goal isn't a great training session.

The goal is what happens after.

**What could change in your school in 90 days?**

Schools rarely lack goals.

The harder part is turning those goals into consistent adult practice and measurable progress.

That's why we created the **AchieveIt 90-Day School Improvement Sprint**, a focused partnership designed to help schools identify a high-leverage priority, strengthen leader and teacher practice, and measure progress within 90 days.

The approach is simple:

1. Diagnose
2. Develop
3. Coach
4. Measure

No one-size-fits-all program. No initiative for the sake of adding another initiative.

Just focused support around the problem your school needs to solve.

**One priority. 90 days. Measurable progress.**

The first weeks of school have the potential to make a big impact.

Not because everything has to be perfect from day one, but because this is when expectations become experiences, priorities begin showing up in practice, and culture starts taking shape.

Three things to focus on:

1. Create clarity around what matters most.
2. Build the culture you want to sustain.
3. Pay attention early enough to adjust.

**Start strong. Learn early. Adjust quickly.**

Our latest blog, “Don't Start the School Year in Survival Mode,” is a reminder that a strong start isn't about doing more.

It's about leading with clarity, intention, and focus.

Before the pace of the school year takes over, take a few minutes to read this one.

Then ask yourself:

Am I leading the start of this school year, or simply responding to it?

Back to school means back to the work that matters.

New students. New goals. New possibilities.

But a strong school year doesn't happen simply because we turn the calendar to August.

It happens when educators have time to think together, strengthen their practice, and get clear about what students need from them.

This is what AchieveIt in Action looks like: working alongside educators to turn big goals into practices that show up in classrooms every day.

Here's to a school year filled with clarity, connection, and meaningful learning.

In honor of International Left-Handers Day, we’re celebrating AchieveIt Founder and President, Venola Mason, and all the lefties who have spent a lifetime navigating notebooks, scissors, desks, and a world that clearly had other plans.

But it also got us thinking…

Education works best when we remember that there isn’t just one right way to learn, think, create, communicate, or solve a problem.

Different perspectives make classrooms stronger.

Different approaches can lead to great outcomes.

And sometimes, looking at something from a slightly different angle is exactly where the best ideas begin.

So today, we’re raising our left hands to our Founder & President and all the lefties out there!

Lefties, check in below. Show Venola some love ✋🏾!

📚 **Summer Reading for Educators**

As you prepare for the new school year, ask yourself this:

**Are your students doing the work...or doing the thinking?**

One of the biggest misconceptions in education is that rigor means giving students *more* work.

True rigor isn't about adding more.

It's about asking students to think more deeply—to question, analyze, explain, create, and solve meaningful problems.

This week's summer reading challenges us to rethink what rigorous instruction really looks like and plan to intentionally design learning experiences that stretch student thinking.

What have you incorporated into your vision board to challenge students to think more deeply from day one?
