Chicago teen awarded $1.3 million in scholarships

October 14th:
5K WALK/RUN IN BRONZEVILLE
Join the Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League for their inaugural "Path to Success" 5K!
Our group will gather together for a celebratory (and sweaty) dutch-treat brunch after the run. (Location TBD, based on number of participants)

November 12th:
DIM SUM IN CHINATOWN
The perfect excuse to find out what the heck dim sum consists of! :)
Enjoy an early lunch of dumplings, dishes, and tea all served from traditional rolling carts at the quintessential Phoenix Restaurant.
If this unseasonable heat holds we might event test out taking a water taxi down the river to our destination.

December 1st:
ZOO LIGHTS IN LINCOLN PARK
Kick off the Holidays with an early sunset stroll through Lincoln Park Zoo all dolled up and decorated for the season.
For anyone who wants to stay and play later, we'll grab dinner and drinks somewhere nearby.

Would love the group's support of new ABC comedy, The Real O'Neals, featuring Mary Hollis Inboden, who made her start on the regional Memphis stages at Playhouse on the Square, Circuit Playhouse, etc. During her time in Memphis, Inboden even graced the McCoy stage a few times for student-directed projects. The Real O'Neals has a 2 episode, sneak-peek premiere tomorrow (3/2) before and after Modern Family, starting at 7:30pm CST.
