Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

GOOD FRIDAY – Today is the beginning of Passover and the day Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. Good Friday is good because of Romans 5:8 and 1 Peter 3:18.

“ But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.”

Today let us think about and reflect on the goodness of God and what He has done for us by showing us this great love and sacrifice unto death. What a love Jesus Christ has shown to us…let us also reflect on this great love.
