We can’t wait to see familiar and new faces around the department and in the classrooms.

Former PhD Student, Ella Wager was featured as a Former National Park Service Historian on the importance of teaching Black history. President Trump cutting these programs in “an executive order aimed at “restoring truth and sanity to American history,” have prompted lawsuits and protests.”

Despite this, Wagner and other former NPS workers and advocates put together a teach-in on Black history, launched on Juneteenth.
