Our next RA spotlight is Senior Rachel Kinsella! This is her second year in the lab, and she is interested in the many unknowns of child development and has been fascinated with our lab's work involving detecting patterns in infants at elevated likelihood for autism spectrum disorder. Rachel plans to continue her studies in medicine and work as a women's healthcare provider after graduation. A fun fact about Rachel is she enjoys teaching spin classes on campus, and loves spending time with her family on their pirate ship!

Our next RA spotlight is Senior Lisa Gallo! This is her fourth year in the lab, and she has a Mulcahy Fellowship for a study investigating how visual attention supports the integration of information from speech and gesture, and how this process changes across development. In the lab, she is very interested in how knowledge is integrated during child development and how individual differences shape concept understanding. Lisa plans to attend medical school with the goal of becoming a pediatric surgeon after graduation. A fun fact about Lisa is she used to play field hockey on an international level!

Starting off our RA Spotlights is Senior Isabella Conley! This is her second year in the lab, and she is very interested in the other-race effect in correspondence with early cognitive development. Isabella plans to go to medical school after graduation and work in the neurology field. A fun fact about Isabella is that she is on the Loyola University Dance Team!

Congratulations to the wonderful Dr. Asli Bursalioglu for completing her PhD in Developmental Psychology this spring! Asli is completing her post-doctoral studies at Northwestern University! Another big congrats to all of our Research Assistants who graduated this spring as well!
