BACKGROUND: OF MILDRED'S PLACE

Beverly Young (CEO/Founder)
Created Mildred's Place in honor of her mother. Mildred. Hall, Mrs. Hall was a dedicated mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Always willing to lend a helping hand. She nurtured three
generations of family and neighbors, she nursed the sick and fed the hungry.
In 2004 she was diagnosed with Dementia, the diagnosis weighed heavily on the hearts of all who knew her. In an attempt to provide Mrs. Hall with care around the clock, Mrs. Young and her siblings created a schedule to incorporate her needs with their daily routine. as time passed by the symptoms of dementia, began to quickly progress. And Mrs. Young and her siblings took the responsibility of caring for her mother full time until her passing in 2011.
Mrs. Young felt led by God to create a place where adults could go while their families, worked during the day. Mrs. Young vowed to establish a business centered on the word of God, for the people of God.

Mission:
Our mission is to provide specialized nursing services to adults and services suffering from dementia.

PURPOSE:
Our purpose is to ensure that our clients. Have the assistance to surpass some of the most difficult times of their lives. Mildreds Place is an adult daycare facility for seniors' citizens who require assistance with daily activities.
We specialize in daily care of adults who suffer from dementia and to educate our families.
Mildred's Place will generate a positive economic shift, we will create employment opportunities which will provide a resource for local residents, to earn a steady income. This empowers the community to become contributing citizens to the economy. Mildred's Place is also the first step towards creating a chain of outreach centers, in the various disciplines of supportive services.

GOAL:
Our goal is to fulfill our God given task of serving our brothers and sisters in Christ. Mildred's Place will be rated among the top adult daycare facility in Illinois. We will accomplish this goal, by providing excellent care and companionship for our clients. We are reliable and affordable.
