Hey folks! We are opening 2 part-time assistant teacher positions to begin later this summer (soon!). Positions--
1) AM Assistant Teacher, Monday-Friday 8:00am -12:30pm

2) PM Assistant Teacher, Monday- Friday 12:30pm - 5:30pm

Compensation--
Hourly, $15-$17/hr

About the Positions--
*Responsibilities include working alongside the lead teachers in whatever capacity needed, keeping the classroom tidy, preparing and setting up snacks, lunch, and naptime, end-of-day cleanup.

*Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, and have experience working with children and/or 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education.

*Applicants must be energetic, love the outdoors and nature ( we go outside in all types of weather! ), enjoy working with children, be patient, kind, responsible, reliable, able to work well as part of a team, and be observant and teachable.

Space Spotlights: Here's this first one, our cubby area.

Essential to any early childhood center, we've designed our cubby area to function for both parents and children alike. The boxes are flexible, home to small things like mittens and extra clothes and double as mailboxes for parent correspondence and outgoing artwork. Just below, the hooks hold all of that winter gear and maybe an extra sweater or two. Our adjacent benches and open floor space give each child the space they need to live into the processes involved with coming in or going out (which are involved in the winter!). So much opportunity in these activities for figuring out organizational skills, practicing fine motor skills, and building patience. (Opportunities for the children and adults!)

Rise Up Early Childhood is currently accepting applications for enrollment! The center offers care from 8 am- 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
