Was Michael Jackson possibly on the spectrum?

After watching the "Michael" movie and being the mom of a son on the autism spectrum, I definitely noticed some familiar characteristics. From having difficulties in social situations, hyper fixated on certain things such as animals and his performances, and him and his mother admitting he was "different". After doing some research I see other people had the same idea.

As humans, it saddens me that so many people were so quick to condemn him when he "acted out of character" instead of giving him some grace for everything he went through in his life and trying to understand who he really was......
