Fun fact: If you know classical music, you already know some Italian. 🎼🇮🇹

Italian is the language of classical music, with words like piano, solo, and soprano used around the world.

And despite its relatively small number of native speakers, it is the 4th most studied language in the world!

It’s not just spoken, either. Italians use 250+ hand gestures in everyday communication. So yes, 🤌 is basically part of the language system.

For nearly 300 years, French was spoken in England’s royal court—which helps explain why so many English words have French origins.

In France, seeing someone twice in one day can even change the way you greet them: instead of saying bonjour again, you might say rebonjour.

And then there are the numbers.
80 is quatre-vingts, literally “four twenties.”
99 is quatre-vingt-dix-neuf, “four twenties, ten, nine.”
