UChicago Library to preserve ‘unique portrait’ of Jewish history in Passover Haggadot collection Stephen Durchslag has spent decades obtaining more than 4,500 Passover Haggadot. His bequest will leave the vast majority of this remarkable collection to the UChicago Library.

No surprises here! Phoenix Society member Michael Weinberg Jr., LAB'41, AB’47, recently celebrated his 95th birthday, and the lively festivities included UChicago tributes in the form of a cake featuring "the bench" (which is located on campus and was given in his name by his late wife Joan), and a custom made UChicago shirt and mask. Weinberg’s longtime love and support for the University has earned him the title of the University’s longest-running donor, with a track record of consecutive giving for the past 79 years. Bravo!
