It’s time to clean house! All of the hazardous waste generated by the Division of Science in the last year is being discarded by an outside company. Organic waste is incinerated and the combustion byproducts sold as fuel. Aqueous waste is neutralized and the metals recovered. All precautions are taken to ensure we are safe, compliant with the law, and protect the environment!
