New Bridge International Learning Center (NBILC)

NBILC was established in 2002 by an expressed need by various educational programs to share activities to improve literacy and cultural understanding in our global community. We spent 10 years implementing our programs; Teach & Travel, Our Pen Pals, Books Abroad, Teaching English Abroad, and more. We brought our programs to Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

With the changes in our global economic climate, NBILC made a shift in focus from global to domestic activity. NBILC supports the development and implementation of educational programs.

NBILC established Hands Up! a program that provides supports educating our citizens on domestic violence prevention.

Currently, NBILC developed The Nuts & Bolts of Camp Nursing, a self-paced, online course with Rush University Medical Center, IPCE (in joint partnership). The Nuts & Bolts of Camp Nursing is a self-paced, online course that takes the professional nurse from the role of the camp nurse in the summer camp setting through the provision of camp nursing care.
