We are inspired by Melinda French Gates' recent commitment of $240 million to leaders and nonprofits working tirelessly to improve women's health and well-being. This initiative shines a spotlight on the critical issues facing women today.

"In the United States, maternal mortality rates are unconscionably high, with Black and Native American mothers facing the greatest risks. Moreover, women in 14 states face significant barriers to reproductive healthcare... The rising number of teenage girls experiencing suicidal thoughts and overwhelming sadness is also deeply concerning." These issues aren't just statistics—they're urgent challenges that demand our attention and action.

Melinda French Gates has pointed out a critical gap: "Despite the pressing need, only about 2 percent of charitable giving in the United States targets organizations focused on women and girls." This underfunding has severe consequences for our society.
