It’s so wonderful to see the costumes find a good new home to have the chance to have another life. Whether you joined in person, or shopped from afar, your support is valued and appreciated!

Proceeds from the sale support Thodos Dance Chicago’s New Dances / New Horizons Microgrant, an initiative designed to uplift Chicago-based, early-career choreographers.

Introducing Camila Rivero Pooley (INSÉKTA), a New Dances / New Horizons 2026 Grantee. Camila is producing MATADORA this fall.

The New Dances / New Horizons fund is supporting their work by supplementing funding for the commission of sound design by a Chicago-based Latiné sound designer.


 

Introducing Matt Haskett, a New Dances / New Horizons 2026 Grantee. Matt is producing Scription Dance Theatre’s 1st annual show, “impasse,” on December 11th at Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble.

The New Dances / New Horizons fund is supporting their work by supplementing funding for dancer compensation.

Introducing Reign Drop, a New Dances / New Horizons 2026 Grantee. Reign is producing I AM: A Movement Story on September 25th & 26th at Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble.

The New Dances / New Horizons fund is supporting their work by supplementing funding for performer pay during the week of the big show! As a part of their New Dances / New Horizons, Reign will present a work-in-progress showing on June 21st at The Rooted Space.

Introducing Mark Gonzalez, a New Dances / New Horizons 2026 Grantee. Mark is producing “Con Ganas” on July 3, 2026 at the 2026 ARTSinTANK Dance Festival in Seoul, South Korea.

The New Dances / New Horizons fund is supporting their work by supplementing funding for dancer compensation for rehearsals in Chicago prior to heading to South Korea.
