Ungrateful

I work hard.
I do my best.
When things go wrong, as they do at times.
Do people stand by you?
Hell no!
They expect you to take the blame.
They are so lame.
There are things out of our control.
There really is no fault, we can’t control other’s behavior.

I don’t want to be the flower locked in the tower.

I long to be free to bathe in the sea.

To bask in the sun.
To have fun.

I don’t want to fold.
I want to be all in.

There is with in some of us extreme deep pain.

It falls upon us like a cold rain.

We cannot catch the deep chill.

Stop worrying about being at the top bill.

The pain is deep seated.

Don’t allow yourself to be defeated.

Grand daughter
So tiny and spectacular.
You came into my life.
Your little hands so soft.
I remember when I became a mother, and I realized the greatest love of all. There is no live greater than a mother’s love! That is what I thought. Then you arrived,and my heart filled again. Knowing you are a part of me too. It’s hard to explain. A special love! A secret love between you and me. I love you forever and always My precious little Arya!

RIP. We will miss you! Thank you for all the great entertainment over the years. The laughs and smiles will go on forever. My sincere condolences to your family.

Feelings
I have so much to be grateful for.
Yet Something still feels missing.
My brain is always buzzing.
Thinking about my life.
The ladies in the attic,
Always heckling me,
Telling me I am not good enough,
Screaming at me.
I try to keep them at bay,
Each new day they find a way,
To remind me of my mistakes.
I hope some day they will go away and let me live my life.
No matter what good I do, they still have something to say.

Dreams of Spring!
I dream of Spring.
And a sparkly wedding ring.
White and Red Roses.
A soulmate, an everlasting love.
The white dress and a long veil.
Family and friends.
Unbound joy and love.
Free flying white doves.
It’s just a dream, a dream for Spring.

So many memories.
I will miss you.
I was gone for so long.
I remember,
Becoming the black sheep.
Feeling alone and lost.
Lost in my own life.
Riddled by the woes of time.
I forgot. I forgot all the good.
I only remembered the bad.
Tumultuous times ravaged my mind.
Stuck in an endless loop I created myself.
I forgot. I forgot all the good.
As clarity came back to me,
I began to remember.
The good pieces I had forgotten.
Now it is too late and you are gone.
I can’t tell you how much I love you.
How much I remember the good.
Please know I love you.

Children grow and blossom.
From the bosom.
Nourished and sheltered.
From helpless to helpful.
Truest love of all.

Children grow and blossom.
Infant, toddler, youth.
Teenage, young adult.

Children grow and blossom.
Graduation, marriage.

You can’t hold on to them forever because children grow and blossom.

Enjoy and respect them while they are with you!
