Maker Fest is a family-friendly showcase of the most innovative work in Chicago: invention, creativity, resourcefulness, and a celebration of what we MAKE.
It’s a place where people share their passions, projects, struggles, and successes! Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, authors, and commercial exhibitors. They are of all ages and backgrounds. This we honor Jackie Moore and Christina Pei. These two amazing women built the foundations for what maker celebration and showcasing should look like with the Chicago Southside Mini Maker Faire and Chicago Northside Mini Maker Faire, respectively.
