The Outdoor Experiential Education program (Ramble Outdoors) is an area of Loyola University Chicago’s Campus Recreation dedicated to providing opportunities for urban students to connect with each other and the outdoors in meaningful ways.
Equipment Rental – Outdoor equipment is available to rent from the Ramble Outdoors program for Loyola student, faculty, and staff.
Group Development – Customized group development (team-building) programs focused to create unique, beneficial, and engaging experiences for groups hoping to grow as a team.
Outdoor Experiences – Hiking, camping, backpacking, and paddling programs designed to connect participants with the outdoors and provide space for rejuvenation and reflection.
Outdoor Leadership Workshop – Semester long workshop offered every spring that teaches participants the skills that are helpful in becoming an outdoor leader/facilitator.
Rock Wall – Located in the Halas Recreation Center offering open climbing hours, climbing classes, climbing competitions in partnership with Intramurals.
