THROWBACK THURSDAY: Cardinal Stepinac Croatian School has been walking for Gospa since its founding at St. Jerome Parish in 1973. We share with you some historical moments, including the Velika Gospa in 1973 when children of our Škola walked in the procession with Fr. Ivan Bradvica, School's first president and principal. For many years, members of Klub Stepinac (High school dance group) have been carrying the beloved Image of Gospa Sinjska, honoring Her as faithful chidren of Blessed Cardinal Stepinac who loved Gospa with a special love. 🙏🇭🇷

Velika Gospa 120th Anniversary August 15, 2026 🇭🇷 Novena Masses start August 6th with rosary at 6:30PM until August 14th, where we will crown our Blessed Mother with her Crown of Gold. 🇭🇷🤍 We ask that you attend, pray, march and volunteer for Velika Gospa. We are extremely excited to welcome Klapa sv. Juraj (Croatian Navy Klapa) to Chicago as we celebrate 120th Anniversary of Velika Gospa. Klapa sv. Juraj will honor Our Lady of Sinj by singing and walking in the Procession for this year Festivities. They will also have a special concert of spiritual and patriotic songs in our church after novena mass on August 13. Entrance fee: Free Will Donation. Plan to be with us. We are very honored to have them with us this year! 🙏🇭🇷
