MVP brings the Common Core to life by offering students a chance to debate, discuss, and connect to works of art through multiple visits to the museum and teacher professional development.

CPS 4th, 5th and 6th grade general education and Language Arts teachers are eligible to apply; teaching teams are highly encouraged.

Artist-led tours and workshops begin October 3rd. All school programs for grades 1–12 are FREE for Illinois schools. Chicago Public Schools are also eligible for FREE BUSING.

Students join a teaching artist for a dialogue-based tour focusing on current exhibitions at the MCA. Tours are offered Tuesday–Friday at 10 and 11 am. Each 50-minute tour is available for a maximum of 35 students.*
