Recent grad Nicholas D’Agosto (MDiv ‘26) brought his experience as a working actor in film and TV to his Master of Divinity program at Meadville Lombard. While dealing with unexpected changes in his career due to the 2020 Covid pandemic, Nick went back to school to explore deep questions and his place in the world.

Now freshly graduated and looking back at his time in the MDiv program, Nick visited our podcast studio to share some advice to current and prospective students. Nick says, “Finish the reading. Dig deeper into the thought if you think there’s something there. The gift is in what you’re giving yourself and all the material that you’ll take with you into your ministry and into your life”

Nick has so many wonderful insights about Clinical Pastoral Education, internship, maintaining relationships with your cohort, and much more! If you’re returning to school this fall or if, like Nick, you’re feeling a draw toward the ministry, take a listen to Nick’s experiences and advice.
